As a parent, you will have the opportunity to be actively involved in your child's journey as they explore the world of entrepreneurship. We will provide resources and workshops specifically designed for parents to effectively engage in the entrepreneurial process alongside their children. Through this program parents will be provided with. valuable guidance to help their child make the most of this journey.

PROGRAM INFORMATION

INTERVIEW DATES: TBD (Interviews will be set up directly with your entrepreneurial coach via email)

There will be various short on-demand sessions that will occur during the week (Monday - Friday) that you and your child will have access to at your pace.

Every Saturday at 1:00 PM Eastern Time your child will be a part of an online, live session with the coach teaching who will collaborate with them and guide them through the entrepreneurial program outlined below.

Students and Parents will receive a specific Learning Lab Private Email (studentsname@barkeralearninglab.com) to obtain access to various online tools and to communicate with the coach.

The students accepted into the program will pay 50% of the total fee for the student to participate in the 5-week session and support program costs. Please note Barkera™ supporters will sponsor each student by paying the remaining balance.

After the parent completes their sign-up application process you will move on to the interview stage in order to be accepted into the program. Limited seats - Sign up Today before the interview process is closed.

After your interview is reviewed by our expert panelist, then you will receive a letter as to the acceptance of your child into our program. At that point, the class will be created on a first come first serve basis. There are limited seats so it is important that you respond to us as soon as you get the acceptance letter so your child has the opportunity to participate in this unbelievable opportunity before space is gone.

You will learn how to identify market needs, create unique solutions, and craft compelling value propositions.

• Learn about different types of pitches.
• Learn how to identify key elements of a pitch by watching a solid presentation of an idea pitch

To put your newfound skills to the test, you will participate in a thrilling pitch competition at the end of this program. This competition will be the ultimate platform for you to showcase everything you have learned through the process of this program. You will have practiced and prepared your presenting and public speaking skills! You will be prepared to present your dog business idea in front of industry experts. You will “wow” our panel of industry experts that will serve as judges of your pitch idea! You will receive valuable feedback from our industry experts as you move forward to grow your dog startup business. This experience will be like no other because it is just the beginning of your journey where you will have the chance to present your plan, share your vision, and demonstrate your entrepreneurial spirit. The stakes will be high, as you learn and grow from feedback from our dog industry experts and, winners will receive special prizes!

Practice Idea Pitch

WEEK 4

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

• Practice pitching with your family and friends.
• Practice self-reflection of your pitch by making and viewing a video of your pitch to make any necessary changes.
• Practice pitching your idea to your coach & classmates.
• Perfect your pitch with suggestions, collaboration, and practice in our live
  session.

These rehearsal activities will strengthen your confidence while learning the art of
public speaking and presenting. All while unlocking your potential for the real pitch day event.

WEEK 5

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

• Pitch to family and friends event "Live"
• Student also has the option to pre-record their pitch and provide it to the coach prior to being played on this date
