Entering the Veterinary Hospital
Welcome to the Veterinary Hospital
Welcome to the start of your Virtual Veterinary Hospital Tour! Your first stop is the reception area, also known as the waiting room. This is where pets and their owners check in for their appointments. It’s an important place where everyone is welcomed, and the team gets ready to help pets feel better. Take a look around and imagine being here with your pet—this is where the care journey begins!
Reception Area
Customer Service
The front reception area of a veterinary clinic is a welcoming space where pet owners and their furry friends first enter.
It typically features comfortable seating, a friendly receptionist desk, and informative displays about pet health and services. This area is important because it sets the tone for the visit, helping to make pets and their owners feel at ease.
A well-organized and friendly reception area can reduce anxiety, provide important information, and ensure a smooth check-in process, making the overall experience positive and efficient for everyone.
Once you are checked in, you will go to the Patient Exam Room to meet the doctor to examine your pet.
Check out the icons on the image to the left to learn about the room. Continue to the next room below when you are done.
Patient Scale
This is a scale used to weigh the animals. The doctor will use the patient’s weight to calculate the dose of any medications used to treat the sick animals.
