Program Overview

Internship and Volunteer programs at Barkera™ are designed to help students learn skills in a real-life entrepreneurial environment! These positions are unpaid as the primary focus is hands-on learning to obtain beneficial skills needed in the everyday workforce. Our internship program is meant to complement the student’s curriculum.

Access to industry-leading experts provides an educational environment, including clinical and hands-on training. Depending on the type of Internship, it may be tied to receiving academic credit and may need to align the corresponding academic calendar in order to receive proper approvals. The Barkera Team will provide the time needed to train, supervise, and provide appropriate feedback throughout the journey.

Overview of Opportunities

Creative Intern

As a Barkera Creative Intern, you will have skills in either videography, graphic design or animation. Apply for this position if you have an interest in one or all of the above to enhance your portfolio.

Education Instructional Coach Intern

As a Barkera Education Instructional Coach Intern, your primary responsibility will be to learn to develop write and teach educational materials for children, teens, and adults.

Industry Research Intern

The role of the Business Research Intern is to help support the evolution of Barkera. We are seeking an intern with a passion for deep diving into extensive research on the Pet Industry to provide strategy recommendations to management.

Instructional Course Intern

As a Barkera Pet Education Curriculum and Instructional Writer Intern, your primary responsibility will be to learn to develop and write educational materials for dog owners and trainers.

Social Community Admin Specialist Intern

Barkera™ is currently looking for Social Media Experts who can moderate our private social groups, communicate with the team on overall group status, tech support issues, and collaborate on strategic ways to drive the overall experience to support the company’s mission at a group level.

HR Intern

We are seeking a highly passionate and dedicated HR Intern for Barkera™. As the HR Intern, you will be responsible for reviewing and providing insight into various aspects of human resources operations.

e-commerce Product Intern

Barkera’s e-commerce Product Intern will assist the e-commerce team to support the product strategy for Barkera’s shop by developing a product catalog to support apparel products and other e-commerce channels.

Marketing Intern

Barkera Marketing Intern assists in researching, developing, and presenting strategies, developing brand recognition and promotional efforts.
